«The Last Heir of K. Adenauer's Traditions»: H. Kohl and a New Turn in the German Question
Abstract
The article deals with the basic policy of the Federal Chancellor Helmut Kohl, oriented to the solution of the German question and the creation of a unified German national state. It is shown that the preparation and implementation of the integration project was attended by representatives of the conservative camp, represented by the CDU/CSU, advocating this idea for a long period, from the first draft of Adenauer and till the adoption of those programs by H. Kohl.
