Patriotism as a Frame and Technology to Mobilize the Russian Youth to Support the Modern Russian Presidential Policy
Abstract
The author attempts to review the modern patriotic turn in the state youth policy in Russia in terms of the theory of frames. Patriotic education of the youth in the state delivered a number of priorities, but in an effort to have a positive impact on the younger generation state actors cover mostly the prosperous youth, leaving aside a considerable number of youngsters of the so-called risk groups. The mobilization of the youth for support of the current political course based on the idea of patriotism in a difficult situation in the world is one of the most important tasks of V. Putin's third presidential term. The author notes features of the complex process of setting a patriotic construction, defining its boundaries and the rules of behavior of the young people.
