Russia in the Global Innovation Space
Abstract
The authors use a significant factual and statistical material in order to show Russia’s place in the global innovation space. They analyze first of all the relationship between the cost of scientific works (R&D), competitiveness of Russian products on the world market, the quality of products and level of development of science and technology. Russia's economy has steadily drawn into the crisis, and probably for a long time, because the roots of this crisis are endogenous, both for the economy and for society as a whole. It is concluded that any policy of modernization is impossible without re-industrialization of the country. The article clearly focuses on the priority purposes of industrial policy.
