Abstract

The article is devoted to Mongolian-British relations in the 21st century. The key point of Mongolia's multi-pillar foreign policy is the so-called third neighbor. These are other developed countries of the world in addition to Russia and China, capable of balancing the influence of the southern and northern neighbors on Mongolia. Great Britain stands apart in the group of developed countries with which Mongolia is actively engaged in foreign policy dialogue. Britain is the first Western country to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia back in the days of the bipolar confrontation in the 20th century. In the context of new geopolitical challenges, Mongolian-British relations are of particular interest; it is important to identify the nature of their relations, the dynamics of diplomatic dialogue, trade, humanitarian relations, the presence of military cooperation, etc.
