The Influence of Neo-Confucianism on the Politics of Modern China: Between Tradition and Modernization

Abstract
The article analyzes the concept of neo-Confucianism as a political scientific tradition, its influence on the political system of modern China and the legitimization of power, and identifies the features of its adaptation to the conditions of the formation of a multipolar world. The authors pay a particular attention to how neo-Confucianism as a worldview and political ideology influences modern political reforms in China and how to adapt traditional Confucian values to the requirements of globalization.
