Abstract

The article discusses the author's methodology for assessing the impact of media content on the attitudes and behavior of young people. Using the example of the Russian TV series «The Boy's Word: Blood on the Asphalt», the methodology for expert analysis of media content compliance with Russian legislation is presented. The study shows that media content in Russia, regardless of age marking, is generally available to all age categories and is a powerful tool for cognitive influence that can have a negative impact on the psyche and health, cause illegal actions and deviant behavior. The main conclusion is that the mechanism for implementing the law, in particular, age marking of content, is not effective and does not fulfill the main function of protecting children from destructive information.
