The Activities of M.T. Kalashnikov in the Assessments of Future Design Engineers

Abstract
The authors consider activities of M.T. Kalashnikov from the point of view of patriotism. Based on the content analysis of essays by students of the Faculty of Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI) the authors identify the following indicators: attitude to work and profession; pride in the country, people and their traditions; social responsibility; personal qualities of the designer; love for the family and relatives, for small homeland. The article also provides some statements by future weapons designers, demonstrating their opinion about the life and work of the legendary Russian designer.
