The Role of Voting Advice Applications and Large Language Models in Elections

Abstract
Digitalization has a significant impact on modern socio-political communications and electoral processes. The focus of this paper is on the impact of voting advice applications and large language models on the formation of political preferences of voters. The main conclusion of the paper is the assertion that there are risks of covert manipulation of public opinion and promotion of the interests of the creators of electronic assistants associated with the spread of new digital technologies in the political sphere of society.
