Internet-Voting as a Factor Influencing the Results of the Gubernatorial Elections in 2022–2024

Abstract

The article considers the influence of the Internet voting factor on the results of gubernatorial elections in Russia for the period 2022-2024. Based on cross-regional and cross-temporal analysis of electoral statistics, the author shows that in only 7 out of 18 cases the electoral support of the election leader was higher in online voting than in voting at polling stations.
