Perpetualization of the Memory of Participants of the Great Patriotic War in the Buryat ASSR in the Second Half of the 20th Century

Abstract
The article deals with the issues of memorialization of the legacy of the Great Patriotic War on the territory of the Buryat ASSR in the second half of the 20th century. The author examines the main monuments and memorial complexes perpetuating the memory of the inhabitants of Buryatia who took part in the war, examines the issues of installing monuments and placing them under state protection. The work examines the activities of the Buryat republican branch of the All-Russian Society for the Preservation of Historical and Cultural Monuments for the identification, fixation and accounting monuments of the Great Patriotic War in the 1960s.
