Political and Economic Aspects of the Introduction of ESG Reporting in Russia

Abstract

The article analyzes the process of implementing ESG reporting in Russia. The author demonstrates that domestic companies support the implementation of such reports, as they minimize the cost of real actions to protect the environment. The article analyzes the methodology of compiling ESG ratings and concludes about the possibility of manipulation in this area.
